Hospitality Chair Cindy Nelson Discusses Millennial Hotel Brands With

Gardere hospitality chair Cynthia Brotman Nelson spoke with, a national commercial real estate publication, on what millennials are looking for in a hotel, and how the hospitality industry is adapting.   

“There are more hotels aimed at millennials,” Nelson told “There are brands such as Hyatt Centric, Renaissance Red and Moxy by Marriott, for example. If those brands appeal to millennials, it is believed the older traveler will come.”

A partner in the firm’s real estate practice with a strong expertise in the hospitality and lodging sector, Nelson handles complex commercial real estate and financing transactions – often involving iconic properties – and represents owners, real estate investment trusts, opportunity funds and developers.
