Of Counsel Thomas Brown, in his initial message as president of the Marin County Bar Association, wrote “Gratitude and Resolutions” for the Marin Lawyer and detailed his goals for 2018 as the bar association’s leader.
“In thinking of goals or resolutions for 2018, I’m reminded of the Marin County Bar Association’s Mission Statement: (1) To involve, encourage, and support Bar Association members; (2) To serve as a liaison to the Marin County courts; and (3) to educate the community and enhance access to legal services,” he wrote.
Brown also promised in his column to continue to develop a vibrant relationship with the bench and to continue to promote and support pro bono activities including the bar’s Lawyers in the Library Program, the annual Mock Trial competition and the Teens and the Law Programs.
