Law360 Interviews Partner Jessica Mason on Trump-Bannon Confidentiality Agreement

Gardere labor and employment attorney Jessica Glatzer Mason spoke with Law360 on the validity of President Donald Trump’s cease-and-desist letter to former chief strategist Steve Bannon. 

"Let's say Trump was trying to have a nondisclosure agreement saying 'you can't tell our state secrets, our strategy for resolving the Middle East peace crisis' — that could be totally fair," said Mason, whose practice involves drafting and enforcing employment agreements. "I've not seen Bannon's agreement … but the way I see it is, I think it's going farther than an NDA really allows."

Mason represents employers and executives in their labor and employment litigation pre-trial, trial and appellate matters around the U.S. and before administrative agencies, including the Texas Workforce Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S. Department of Labor.
