Lacktman Comments on Billing Practice at Center of Lawsuit

Partner Nate Lacktman was quoted in a FierceHealthcare article, “Indiana benefits administrator sues Teladoc to recoup $450K in overcharges,” about a lawsuit against a telemedicine company by an Indiana benefits administrator over $450,000 in alleged overcharges.

Lacktman said “per employee per month” (PEPM) payments are common among telehealth providers and employer plans, offering an attractive alternative to traditional fee-for-service payment models.
