Foley & Lardner LLP represented Quad/Graphics Inc. in its $1.4 billion acquisition of LSC Communications Inc.
Quad, a Sussex, Wisconsin-based provider of marketing products and services for the retail, publishing and health care industries, said the addition of Chicago-based LSC will boost the company’s printing solutions business, bring in a broader client base and provide new revenue opportunities. It will also bolster the company’s production and distribution capabilities, as well as its mailing and logistics services business.
LSC, which was spun off from business communications giant RR Donnelley & Sons Co. two years ago, operates more than 40 facilities across the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and Europe.
The Foley team was led by partners Russell Ryba and Patrick Quick. They were assisted by partners James McKeown, Tim Voigtman, Jamshed J.
