Foley Lawyer Chris Kise Makes National News at Center of Florida Governor’s Race

23 October 2018 Florida Politics News

Partner Chris Kise was quoted in a Florida Politics article, "FBI Provided 'Hamilton' ticket to Andrew Gillum, subpoena suggests," about records suggesting Tallahassee Mayor and Florida gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum might have received a ticket to the Broadway musical "Hamilton" from an undercover FBI agent.

Kise, who represents lobbyist and developer Adam Corey, Gillum's former mayoral campaign treasurer, said his client has been unfairly and inaccurately portrayed in the media as being engaged in improper or criminal activity.

"Corey has suffered significant and permanent damage to both his business and personal interests and reputation," Kise said, adding that the "unfounded assaults on his reputation have been both harmful and unfair."
