Hayley Altabef is an associate with Foley & Larder LLP. She is a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice. Her practice includes commercial litigation regarding contractual and product disputes. She also has experience with large-scale internal investigations.
While in law school, Hayley served as a legal intern for The Honorable Barbara M.G. Lynn of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Hayley received her law degree from The University of Chicago Law School (J.D., 2017), where she was a staff member for the Chicago Journal of International Law and a 2L representative for the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. She earned her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University (magna cum laude, B.A., 2012) in American Studies.
Hayley authored “Walking a Tightrope: Navigating Panhandling Regulation in Light of Reed v. Gilbert,” Illinois State Bar Association Local Government Law Section, 2016.
