Shiva D. Beck

Overview

Shiva Beck focuses her practice on a broad range of business reorganization and restructuring matters, including the representation of debtors, creditors' committees and institutional creditors. She spends a significant amount of time representing banking and financial institutions in bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings. As a bankruptcy attorney, Shiva’s practice includes representation of creditors and debtors in Chapter 7, 11, 13 and 15 cases in California, Delaware, Florida, Nevada, New York, and Texas.

Shiva served as law clerk to the Honorable Geraldine Mund of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. She has also worked in the chambers of the Honorable Kathleen Thompson and Honorable Ellen Carroll of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. In addition to her regular caseload, Shiva is active in her philanthropic work through the Jewish Federations of North America.
