Shana L. Bell



Shana L. Bell is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the firm’s Transactions and Fund Formation & Investment Management Practices.

Shana focuses her practice on strategic and commercial corporate and transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions, fund formation and investment transactions. She has experience working with public and private companies as well as strategic investors. Her transactional experience includes buy and sell-side deals in the health care, senior living, distribution and construction spaces where she had substantial responsibility for diligence and disclosure issues.

Before joining Foley, Shana worked at a boutique law firm where she conducted independent due diligence reviews of complex alternative investment securities on behalf of independent broker/dealer and investment advisor clients. In this role, Shana would review and assess issuer business transactions and operations and related documentation, ongoing regulatory compliance issues, disclosure documents as well as corporate governance practices and procedures.

Shana also worked for one of the largest diversified net lease Real Estate Investment Trusts in the country where she conducted and facilitated legal, financial and regulatory due diligence on multiple real estate securities offerings.

Previously, Shana also worked as an in-house due diligence analyst for multiple prominent sponsors and distributors in the alternative investment space where she was responsible for conducting and facilitating legal and financial due diligence on a variety of financial services products.
