Overview

Cody Carter is an Intellectual Property associate in the firm’s Dallas office. His experience includes working as a law clerk to the Chief Judge J. Rodney Gilstrap in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas and as a judicial intern to Judge Alan D. Albright in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas and to Judge JacLanel McFarland in the Harris County 133rd Civil District Court. In these roles, Cody assisted in trial preparations and claim construction hearings, reviewed motions, and researched legal issues for the court. Cody is a former summer associate with Foley.

During law school, he worked alongside attorneys at the Baylor Law Intellectual Property Clinic to assist clients with various patent and trademark matters.
