Overview

Palmer Corbett is a patent agent with Foley & Lardner LLP. His experience includes patent preparation and prosecution, infringement and validity analyses and product clearance studies. Palmer is based in the firm's Chicago office where he is a member of the firm’s Mechanical & Electromechanical Technology Practice.

Palmer focuses his practice in technology areas relating to automotive devices, consumer products, computer networks and systems and civil engineering structures. He also regularly secures foreign patent rights for his clients in jurisdictions including Europe, Canada, China and Japan.

Prior to joining Foley, Palmer interned as a manufacturing engineer in various industries including automotive seating, power electronics and electric motors and gearboxes.
