Kristina Cucinotta

Special Counsel

Overview

Kristina Cucinotta is a Special Counsel for the Litigation Department with Foley & Lardner LLP. Kristina is based in the Tampa office where she is a member of the firm’s Construction Practice Group.

Prior to joining Foley, Kristina was an Associate for another firm in Tampa, where she specialized in First-Party Property Coverage Defense and Bad Faith litigation.  She also has extensive trial experience from litigating numerous felony and misdemeanor trials as an Assistant Public Defender for the Twelfth Judicial Circuit, at which time she concurrently served as the appointed Staff Attorney for the circuit’s DUI Court Diversionary Program.  Kristina first gained civil litigation experience as Senior Attorney for the Department of Children and Families, where she served as an advocate for child welfare.

Additionally, Kristina worked for the Department of Homeland Security, where she was recognized for her work and dedication to aiding disaster survivors across the country.
