Trevor Currie is a senior counsel and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He represents clients in a broad range of general corporate law and transactional matters, with a focus on venture capital financings, commercial transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. He is a member of the firm’s Transactions Practice.
Prior to joining Foley, Trevor was an associate in the Milwaukee office of a national law firm. During his tenure, he represented companies in a variety of corporate, commercial finance, and securities transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, venture financings, private placements, loan originations and modifications and compliance with securities regulations.
Before beginning his career as an attorney, Trevor was a staff accountant for Loyola University Chicago’s Sponsored Program Accounting Department, where he processed and managed state and federal grants received by the university.

Trevor earned his law degree from Notre Dame Law School (J.D., 2014), where he served as a senior articles editor for the Journal of International and Comparative Law. He received his bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Chicago (B.B.A., magna cum laude, 2011), with a major in accounting and a minor in economics.
