Matt Deegan is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the firm’s Transactions Practice.

Matt began his career with Foley as a summer associate in 2019, where he worked with the firm’s Transactions Practice. He assisted with mergers and acquisitions and assisted in creating an Opportunity Zone Fund.

Matt was an extern for the Honorable Judge Paul G. Byron in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in 2018, where he conducted research on various legal issues. He drafted memos and an order for Judge Byron.
