Erin Y. Drolet

Associate

Erin Drolet is an associate and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP where she is a member of the Finance Practice and Energy Industry Team. Erin represents clients in the financing of large scale utility, commercial, and community renewable energy generation facilities and facility portfolios. Her practice includes project development and finance, representing project developers that are engaged in the development of solar projects and the investors and lenders that are financing such projects. Within the Finance Practice, Erin focuses on renewable energy debt financing and tax equity financing.

While in law school, Erin was an intern in Foley’s Washington, D.C. office. She also served as a general counsel intern for the Financial Services Institute and a legal intern for the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights.

Erin is actively engaged in the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, Asian Pacific Bar Association of DC, and the Korean American Bar Association of DC.

Representative Experience

  • Represented regional U.S. financial institution as administrative agent, collateral agent, sole bookrunner, coordinating lead arranger, and one of a syndicate of lenders, which included five domestic and foreign banks and financial institutions, with respect to the $250 million financing for a 189-megawatt solar development project Illinois, currently under development by a national renewable energy company.
