Yelan Escalona is a business immigration attorney who counsels clients on the ever-evolving areas of immigration law and helps them develop comprehensive strategies to meet their employment and immigration needs.

Yelan has experience with immigrant and nonimmigrant matters, including petitions for intracompany transferees, individuals of extraordinary ability, and investors. She represents public and private companies across a diverse range of industries, including healthcare, finance, construction, and manufacturing. Yelan has also represented clients in commercial litigation matters, including breach of contract, trademark infringement, and Fair Credit Reporting Act cases.

During law school, Yelan served as a congressional intern for the Office of Sen. Robert Menendez in Washington, D.C., and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Adalberto Jordan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in Miami, Florida. Yelan is a member of the firm’s Government Solutions Practice Group and started her career with Foley as a summer associate.
