Kristina Fernandez Mabrie is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP. She is a member of the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice. Previously, Mrs. Fernandez Mabrie worked as a summer associate with Foley in both 2015 and 2016, where she focused on issues in complex litigation, business litigation, labor and employment, and sports law.
Prior to joining Foley, Mrs. Fernandez Mabrie served as a judicial extern for The Honorable Judge Alex Kozinski of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit where she worked on a wide variety of appellate cases. Prior to her legal career, Mrs. Fernandez Mabrie gained legal experience as a litigation paralegal. Before that, she gained valuable sports industry knowledge while working for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Mrs. Fernandez Mabrie received her law degree from University of California Los Angeles School of Law (J.D., 2017), where she was a member of UCLA Law’s Moot Court Team and competed at the National Juvenile Law Moot Court Competition. She earned her undergraduate degree from Loyola Marymount University (B.A., 2008) in English-Writing. While earning her undergraduate degree, she was a four Sport Division I varsity letter recipient in water polo, swim, track, and cross-country.
Mrs. Fernandez Mabrie is admitted to practice law in California and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for California.
Mrs. Fernandez Mabrie is a member of the Sports Lawyers Association, and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.
