Rachel E. Gallagher is an associate and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. She is a member of the firm’s Transactions Practice. Her practice focuses on early-stage financing, mergers & acquisitions, startups, tax and securities law, and general corporate matters.
Rachel was a summer associate and law clerk with Foley before joining the firm as an associate.
Rachel graduated from the University of Wisconsin Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2018), where she was named to the Order of the Coif. During law school, she was a student attorney at the Law & Entrepreneurship Clinic in Madison, where she assisted entrepreneurial clients with general formation, nonprofit, and contract issues. She also served as vice-president of the Business and Tax Law Society for two years and was a member of the Wisconsin International Law Journal. She earned her undergraduate degree from the Benedictine College (B.S., summa cum laude, 2013), where she majored in business management and minored in music and theology. She also earned her master’s degree in business administration from Benedictine College (M.B.A., 2015).
