Eli Gaylor is an associate and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice.
Prior to joining Foley, Eli was a legal associate at Freedom Technologies, Inc. in Arlington, Virginia, where he consulted on government contracts, including working with the DoD, NASA, NOAA, and NTIA. He also conducted legal research and attended congressional hearings and other telecommunications-related events on behalf of clients.
Before attending law school, Eli served as an officer in the United States Army where he attained the rank of Captain and served as an infantry executive officer, mortar platoon leader, and platoon leader.
Eli earned his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., 2018), where he was president of the Georgetown Military Law Society (2016-2018), a member of the Georgetown Entertainment & Media Alliance, and worked as a member of the Harrison Institute Affordable Housing Transaction Clinic to assist low-income communities and cooperatives in securing private and government funding to renovate aging multi-family properties in the District of Columbia.
Eli is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, where he received a Bachelor of Science: American Politics in Political Science degree (B.S., 2010) and was on the Dean’s List.
Eli is admitted to practice in Florida.
Eli received the Meritorious Service Medal and two Army Achievement Medals during his time in service, in addition to being Honor Graduate of the Mortar Leader’s Course, Honor Graduate of the Army Reconnaissance Course, and being awarded the Order of St. George Medallion.
