Lance Goodman is an associate at Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the firm’s Electronics Practice.
Lance served as a summer associate at Foley’s Madison office, where he assisted on a variety of patent prosecution and litigation matters. He has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in a wide range of technical fields including software, semiconductors, and mechanical apparatuses.
Lance is a former treasurer of the Wisconsin Intellectual Property Society.
Lance earned his law degree, with honors, from the University of Wisconsin Law School (J.D., 2018).
Lance has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Minnesota –Twin Cities, with a minor in management (B.S.E.E., 2015). His academic performance also earned him numerous Twin Cities Academic Excellence Letters. During this time, he worked as an undergraduate research assistant, designing and implementing antenna devices to investigate meta-materials and their electrical cloaking ability.
Lance is admitted to practice law in Wisconsin and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
