Kyle counsels clients seeking patents, trademarks, or copyrights, defends & enforces IP rights in the marketplace, and negotiates transactions & acquisitions for clients seeking to use IP to collaborate and grow their businesses.

Kyle prepares and prosecutes patent applications globally and manages international patent portfolios for clients of all sizes. Kyle serves clients in a variety of technology domains, including oilfield equipment, aerospace, drones, turbine engines, IoT devices, RF systems, and implantable medical devices.

Kyle advises clients on critical technology agreements, licenses, and transactions. He helps companies manage the complex relationships among management, contractors, employees, and strategic partners, to avoid future problems as they expand and strategically pivot.

Clients seek Kyle’s guidance as they develop new brands and consider trademarks and trademark applications. He protects brands, trademarks, and product designs, and he leverages a variety of enforcement strategies, including cease letters, TTAB proceedings, and federal and state court litigation.

Kyle advises artists and content creators on copyright and publicity-related matters. He is familiar with representing musicians, actors, political figures, and other high-profile individuals needing help with IP risk management, copyright, and personal branding, and he negotiates on the behalf of talent in connection with their participation in television shows, theatrical events, art installations, and public rallies, including the licensing of creative materials, the preparation and management of copyright and publicity considerations, and national enforcement efforts.
