Allison Haugen is an associate and intellectual property lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. Allison is located in the firm’s Milwaukee office where she is a member of the Trademark, Copyright & Advertising Practice and a member of the Intellectual Property Department. Allison is admitted to practice only in Colorado and Ohio. She is not admitted in Wisconsin.
Prior to joining Foley, Allison was an associate at a full-service law firm where she primarily assisted clients with the global enforcement and defense of valuable intellectual property assets. She represented clients in all stages of proceedings in front of the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, in UDRP proceedings, and in litigation in federal courts across the country. She also assisted clients with online enforcement efforts, drafting demand letters and submitting successful takedown notices.
Previously, Allison was an associate at a multinational law firm where she developed and implemented strategies to grow and protect global trademark portfolios. She advised clients regarding trademark availability and developed practical strategies to proceed to register and/or use proposed trademarks with low risk exposure. She also advised clients on various mergers, acquisitions and other strategic transactions. While working on her J.D. degree, Allison was an extern for the Honorable Judge Jeffrey Sutton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
