Overview

Kacey Diane Heekin is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the firm’s Health Care Industry Team.

Prior to joining Foley, Kacey worked as a certified legal intern in the juvenile division of the Public Defender’s Office for the 2nd Judicial Circuit of Florida. During law school, she served as a judicial extern for Judge Mark E. Walker at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida. Additionally, Kacey was a 2018 summer associate with Foley in the firm’s Jacksonville office.

Previously, Kacey was a research assistant at The Claude Pepper Center in Tallahassee, where she compiled an extensive series of reports and issue briefs on various populations within and components of the mental health system, and matters surrounding the state of long-term health care.
