Albert K. Heng is an associate and intellectual property lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the firm’s Mechanical & Electromechanical Technologies Practice.
In 2014, Mr. Heng served as a summer associate with Foley providing support to attorneys on intellectual property matters related to patents. While in law school, Mr. Heng worked as a student attorney for the BU Civil Litigation Program in the Immigration Rights Clinic and as a patent extern for the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Heng gained valuable technical experience as a mission planner with the Spacecraft Design Team at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Mr. Heng earned his law degree from the Boston University School of Law (J.D., 2015, J.D. Student Commencement Speaker), where he completed the intellectual property concentration with honors. Mr. Heng served as president of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and the Intellectual Property Law Society, and as director of the Legal Follies sketch comedy group. He received his bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (B.S., 2011, Tau Beta Pi).
Mr. Heng is admitted to practice in California. He is registered before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
