Overview

Lee Hess Jeansonne is a special counsel and litigation attorney with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the firm's Construction Practice.

Prior to joining Foley, Lee was an assistant public defender in the Sixth Judicial Circuit. In his time at the Public Defender's Office, he managed an average caseload of 150 cases and gained extensive courtroom experience including appearances in nine criminal divisions and trying numerous cases to jury trials and verdict.

Additionally, Lee was a legal intern for both the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Council, RC-1 where he assisted attorneys with depositions, hearings, and trials, and for a Jacksonville law firm where he performed legal research in the areas of family and personal injury law.
