Mei Jin is an associate and intellectual property lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. She is a member of the firm's Technology Transactions & Outsourcing Practice. Her practice focuses on counseling clients on legal and business issues related to technology, intellectual property, and commercial deals. She regularly prepares technology and commercial agreements such as licensing, collaboration, clinical trial, and manufacturing agreements.

Before joining Foley, Mei was a patent attorney at an international law firm, where she prosecuted patent applications and performed IP due diligence for clients in the biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device fields.

Prior to her legal career, Mei worked as a research associate with Ferring Pharmaceuticals, where she conducted exploratory studies with pre-clinical animal models for drug discovery programs. She also worked in a medical device company, where she developed chemical formulations for diagnostic products, and drafted and implemented validation protocols in accordance with current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) regulations.
