Eugene Krakow is a patent attorney, advising clients ranging from multinational corporations to startups. He is an associate in the firm’s Electrical Practice Group, and Innovative Technology Sector. Eugene primarily focuses on patent drafting and prosecution in the electrical arts.

Eugene’s practice as a patent attorney includes guiding companies, inventors, and individuals through the intricacies of intellectual property law, before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Eugene’s practice focuses on improvements to semiconductor devices, vehicle electrification, and various machine learning applications, including machine vision systems. Eugene also devotes considerable time to various pro bono efforts, including representation of individual inventors, and Wisconsin criminal expungement efforts.

Prior to joining Foley, Eugene was a project engineer at Progress Rail Locomotive serving as technical lead on aftermarket updates of locomotive control systems and he also served two tours during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
