Paul J. Labov is a litigation partner with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the firm’s Bankruptcy & Business Reorganizations Practice.
Paul represents a wide range of clients in the chapter 11 and corporate work-out space, including official committees of unsecured creditors, ad hoc creditor groups, institutional and non-traditional lenders, large unsecured creditors, trustees, and liquidation trusts. In addition, Paul represents and advises private equity firms in the purchase and sale of distressed debt and assets.
Paul earned his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law (J.D., 2002). He is also a graduate of George Washington University (B.A., 1999).
Paul has been recognized for his work in financial restructuring and bankruptcy by both the New York Super Lawyers® list in 2018 and the New York Super Lawyers – Rising Stars® list (2013 – 2017).
Paul is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of New York, and the U.S. District Court District of New Jersey.
