Sylonda Lang is a business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP and a member of the firm’s Transactional & Securities Practice.
During law school, Sylonda was a summer associate with Foley. As a PILI fellow, she also drafted legal documents and provided free legal consultations through The Chicago Legal Clinic to individuals representing themselves in cases pending in the chancery division. In addition, while at Spelman College, she worked for The Younger Women's Task Force of Atlanta as a policy and advocacy intern and as a legislative intern for Voices for Georgia's Children.
Sylonda earned a law degree from Northwestern University School of Law (J.D., 2016), where she served as an associate editor and articles editor of the Journal of Law & Social Policy. She received her bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Spelman College (B.A., summa cum laude, 2013), where she was a member of a mock trial team.
Sylonda is admitted to practice in Illinois.
