Alexis Leineweber is an associate and business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. Alexis practices general corporate and business law with an emphasis in securities law, corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions. She is a member of the firm’s Transactions Practice.
Prior to joining Foley, Alexis worked for a U.S. mutual fund corporation preventing fraudulent transactions by evaluating identity, validity, and acceptability of requests within the terms of IRS regulations, OFAC restrictions, and probate laws.
Alexis earned her law degree from Marquette University Law School (J.D., magna cum laude 2018). She was a member of the Marquette Law Review, earned CALI awards for achieving the highest grade in five of her classes, and was awarded the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Medal of Excellence. She is also a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee (B.A., 2009), where she received her undergraduate degree in economics, political science and international affairs.
