Michael Maurer is a patent engineer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a member of the firm’s Mechanical & Electromechanical Technologies Practice.
Michael has experience preparing and prosecuting patent applications involving various technologies, including building equipment efficiency, model predictive control, medical devices, vehicle suspension systems and transmissions, agricultural machines, wireless networks, and machine learning methods.
Prior to joining Foley, Michael interned with Snap-on Tools where he aided in mechanical design and testing of pneumatic impact wrenches, including the PT-850, MG-725, and MG-325.
Michael received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering (B.S., 2018), and graduated with high honors.
