Prior to Foley Danielle was an associate at another large law firm in Chicago where she also focused on employee benefits and executive compensation matters. Before attending law school she worked as an employee benefits broker and consultant, as well as an employee benefits plans analyst in the Human Resources department of a Fortune 200 manufacturing company.
Danielle focuses her practice on legal considerations for health and welfare, retirement, and executive compensation plans. She works with clients on the design, drafting, and ongoing legal compliance of these plans. She frequently advises employers on tax, Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), fiduciary, Affordable Care Act (ACA), HIPAA, COBRA and cafeteria plan issues. She also reviews such issues in the context of merger and acquisition transactions.
