Matthew (Matt) Peters is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP, where he is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation Practice.
Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Peters gained legal experience in the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Wisconsin as a law clerk. He also served as judicial intern for the Honorable Juan R. Torruella at the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and as judicial intern for the Honorable Jeffrey A. Conen at the Milwaukee County Circuit Court.
Mr. Peters earned his law degree from Boston University School of Law (J.D., 2016), where he received a Dean’s Award in Criminal Law, and was a member of the International Law Journal. Mr. Peters graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in honors chemistry with business (B.S., 2013).
Mr. Peters is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Wisconsin and the Eastern District of Texas, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
