Andrea Picco is a Miami-based, fluent Spanish-speaking litigation associate with Foley & Larder LLP. She is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice, where she has experience on a broad range of subject matters.
Andrea has represented companies and individuals in domestic and international government investigations, government enforcement actions, and related litigation. Andrea also represents clients in internal investigations, focusing on enforcement proceedings by the Department of Justice (DOJ) and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) involving the False Claims Act (FCA) and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
Andrea has also litigated cases on behalf of clients across a wide variety of industries, including medical technology companies, insurance companies, international manufactures and retailers, and financial and healthcare institutions, among others, in both federal and state courts across the United States, including Puerto Rico.
Previously, Andrea was a summer associate with Foley, providing support in a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters.
Andrea received her law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law (J.D., cum laude, 2018), where she received a book award for criminal law, and participated in the GatorTeam Child Juvenile Clinic representing minors in both juvenile and delinquency matters. Andrea was also president of the Entertainment and Sports Law Society and served as the executive outreach chair for the Journal of Law and Public Policy. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida (B.A., cum laude, 2014).
