Mark Scimeca is special counsel and a business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. He has experience in a wide variety of corporate law matters including corporate formation, operations, and governance, executive compensation, contract drafting, review and negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raising and finance transactions. He is a member of the firm’s Transactional and Securities Practice and Health Care Industry Team. Prior to joining Foley, Mark served as in-house counsel for over 20 years, including as general counsel and executive vice president for Harbor Retirement Associates and general counsel for CNL Real Estate Group.
Mark received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center (J.D., cum laude, 1992), where he was awarded the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Advocacy Award. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Colgate University (B.A., magna cum laude, 1989).

Mark is admitted in Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. He is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel and the Christian Legal Society.
Mark is a graduate of the Greater Orlando Leadership Foundation (2004). He serves as a member of the Board of Elders and an international missions team leader of Grace Community Church (St. Cloud, Florida).
