Elijah J. Sharp



Elijah (Eli) J. Sharp is a patent and intellectual property attorney with Foley & Lardner LLP, based in the firm’s Dallas office, where he is a member of the firm's Mechanical & Electromechanical Technologies Practice.

Prior to joining Foley, Eli was a strategic sourcing manager of a large company involved in designing and manufacturing construction and mining machinery where he was responsible for regional and international sourcing and materials functions, policies, and programs. He also worked with the engineering department to implement designs that leverage supply chain competencies and drive supply chain improvement.

He was also a materials manager for a petroleum & industrial pump corporation where he earned Green Belt in Six Sigma continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing, guided cost reduction initiatives and technology improvements, examined documents and materials, monitored work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications and revised production schedules when required due to engineering design changes, labor or material shortages, backlogs, or other interruptions, collaborating with sales, production and engineering teams.
