Overview

Alison L. Steed is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office where she is a member of the Business Law Department.

Alison represents companies and private equity funds in complex business transactions including mergers, acquisitions, distressed M&A transactions, reorganizations, debt and equity financings, joint ventures, private equity investments and other strategic transactions. In addition, Alison assists clients with a variety of corporate governance matters.

Before joining Foley, Alison was an associate at an international law firm headquartered in Washington, D.C. where she advised various public and private companies across a broad range of industries in acquisitions and divestitures, financial restructurings and other complex business transactions.

Previously, Alison was a legal intern at the Office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut in Hartford, Connecticut.
