Connor D. Strait



Connor Strait is an associate in the Intellectual Property Department of Foley & Lardner LLP. Connor is located in the firm’s Milwaukee office where he is a member of the firm’s Mechanical and Electromechanical Technology Practice.

Connor worked as a Foley summer associate where he assisted with prosecuting various patents, drafting patent applications and responding to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Prior to joining Foley, Connor was a legal research assistant at Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law. He was also a contracts and legal intern in the Ohio State University Technology Commercialization Office. Connor worked directly with inventors and attorneys in guiding technologies from disclosure to filling, led discussions on research findings and helped determine best course of action and negotiated NDAs and date transfer agreements.
