Justin Talbot is a patent agent with Foley & Lardner LLP. He has been working in intellectual property since 2007, focusing on patent prosecution and technology transfers. Mr. Talbot finds creative solutions to secure client's intellectual property rights, working with mechanical or mechatronic technology, as well as a broad range of other technological areas. He uses a suite of software tools to provide clients with cutting edge analyses of their intellectual property, and an enlightened view of the competitive landscape of their own marketplace.
Prior to joining Foley, Mr. Talbot held positions as a patent agent and patent engineer at other Wisconsin-based national law firms.
Mr. Talbot received his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering (B.S., magna cum laude, 2007) from the University of Wisconsin—Milwaukee. He was a member of Tau Beta Pi, the honors engineering society (Gamma Chapter of Wisconsin, 2005).
Mr. Talbot is admitted to practice as a patent agent before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
