Jasmine (Jas) Wallas is driven to help innovators protect their groundbreaking innovations in  materials science, chemistry, and biotechnology technology fields. Jas is a patent agent and law clerk in the firm’s Chemical, Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Practice Group.

Jas’ experience as a patent agent includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications in complex technology areas including batteries, fuel cells, polymers, lubricants, semiconductors, cancer therapies, medical devices, protein therapies, and tissue engineering.

Clients benefit from Jas’ experience in scientific research and technology licensing. Prior to joining Foley, Jas worked in technology licensing with Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (MIT) Technology Licensing Office, where they accelerated technology commercialization stemming from MIT’s chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and materials science departments. Furthermore, Jas has more than a decade of hands-on scientific research experience in materials chemistry and biotechnology.
