Teresa Wendel is an associate counsel with Foley & Lardner LLP. She is a member of the firm’s Securities Enforcement & Litigation Practice.
Ms. Wendel’s practice focuses on securities litigation and enforcement matters, government investigations, and white collar litigation. She represents financial institutions and broker-dealers in various regulatory matters and related investigations by the DOJ, SEC, FINRA, CFTC, and other state and federal agencies.
Prior to joining Foley, Ms. Wendel was a securities litigation attorney with a large multinational law firm in New York City. She practices law from the well-rounded perspective of having practiced internationally. She worked with various organizations in Europe, including the European Space Agency in Paris, United Nations Office of Outer Space Affairs, and the Permanent Mission of the Czech Republic to the UN in Vienna.
Ms. Wendel earned her LL.M from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2013. She received her master’s degree in law, with honors, from the Charles University School of Law in Prague in 2010.
Ms. Wendel is admitted to practice in New York.
Ms. Wendel is fluent in German, French, and Czech.
