Overview

Ireh Yoon is a visiting foreign counsel from South Korea and health care business lawyer with Foley & Lardner LLP. She is a member of the firm’s Health Care Practice.

Ireh has significant experience working in South Korea’s regulatory environment. As an attorney licensed in Korea, she represented broad range of Korean and multi-national companies in pharmaceutical, medical device, cosmetics and food sectors, specializing in corporate compliance and regulatory defense in the areas of health law, antitrust law, anti-bribery and general corporate law enforcement. She also has significant experience in litigations in each level of court in Korea, including the Supreme Court of Korea, representing cases concerning administrative proceedings, civil damages and criminal defense due to alleged violations of laws and administrative orders. In addition to her expertise in regulatory issues and litigation experience, Ireh has remarkable knowledge and experience in advising on transactional and legal issues arising from the business culture of Korea.

Prior to joining Foley, Ireh worked as a senior associate at a premier law firm in Seoul as well as in-house counsel secondee at GlaxoSmithKline Korea where she reviewed pharmaceutical corporate contracts and advised on general corporate issues including data protection, fair labeling, product liability, marketing and advertisement, unfair transaction, and anti-bribery policy.
