Adrianna Zhang is patent agent with Foley & Lardner LLP in the San Diego office, and a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property Department and the Chemical, Biotech & Pharmaceutical Practice.
Adrianna has accumulated over five years of experience in dealing with U.S. and foreign prosecution relating to biotechnology and biopharmaceutical, with specific focus in the areas of antibodies, biologics, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), gene therapies, cell therapies, and diagnostics.
Prior to Foley, Adrianna spent more than five years as a patent agent at a San Diego law firm, working closely with intellectual property and research teams on developing strategy and identifying new innovations. She also worked alongside patent attorneys to provide counseling to the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.
Adrianna has a strong background in research, particularly in the areas of immunology, biochemistry and molecular biology. Her postdoctoral work included, among other projects, initiating a new research direction for the Ebola virus.
