International Antitrust

We counsel clients on a number of antitrust and competition issues arising under jurisdictions outside the United States. Through our Brussels office, we counsel regularly on international merger filings and on the new, relatively untested, antitrust regulations being enacted abroad.

In addition, we have significant experience in handling European competition issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, abuse of dominant position, distribution arrangements, horizontal competitor cooperation, information exchanges, and joint purchasing arrangements as well as the antitrust aspects of standard setting in the EU. We have filed pre-merger notifications for our clients in numerous countries around the world. We have handled significant matters before the EU Commission involving Articles 101 and 102 of the EU Treaty.
