The presentation provides a comparison of Texas, Louisiana and maritime law as applicable to the oil and gas industry. An update on oilfield indemnification issues and the continued fallout from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, including its impact on insurance litigation and oil and gas contract negotiations, will also be discussed.
