Telehealth Landscape: Licensing, Practice Standards, and Emerging Trends

Foley Associates Jaide Lee Beverly and Caitlin Otis will be delivering a presentation titled “Telehealth Landscape: Licensing, Practice Standards, and Emerging Trends” at the Hillsborough County Bar Association, Health Care Section Luncheon.

Telehealth continues to be an evolving and heavily-regulated industry, presenting numerous legal considerations and complexities. This presentation will educate attendees on the telehealth landscape in order to identify legal and regulatory compliance issues for clients. Attendees will learn best practices for effectively meeting state laws, regulations and policies on licensure, telehealth practice standards, establishing a provider-patient relationship, and permissible prescribing practices. This presentation will also highlight emerging trends and possible obstacles facing telehealth providers in the future.
