Good Morning America featured the Annual Foley & Lardner MLK Jr. Oratory Competition as part of its Martin Luther King Jr. Day special segment honoring the late civil rights activist. Now in its 29th year in Dallas, 25th year in Houston, and its second year in Chicago, this year’s event featured fourth- and fifth-grade students presenting original three- to five-minute speeches answering the question, “How do you think Dr. King’s teachings can help us today?”
