Foley & Lardner LLP announced today it served as legal advisor for its Dallas-based client Rosewood Private Investments (“Rosewood”), a family-backed investment firm, in its acquisition of American Petroleum Sales and Service (“AMPET”) and Petroleum Equipment Company, Inc. (“PECO”). The two companies will be combined under Rosewood’s new holding company, StationServ, a petroleum equipment distribution platform.
Rosewood’s current holdings are focused on industrial services, fire and life-safety services, IT services, and manufacturing technologies. In addition to these areas, Rosewood has been pursuing new platforms in specialty chemicals, transportation and logistics, and outsourced business services, among others. The addition of StationServ allows the firm to cover platforms across technology, environmental, and industrial sectors.
With these acquisitions, Rosewood plans to extend its service offerings to both existing and new customer relationships and add additional companies under StationServ. The terms of the deals were not disclosed.
The Foley team serving as counsel for Rosewood was led by Partners Chris Babcock and Chris Converse and included Senior Counsel Louis Wahl and Associates Tim Grasser, Brett Bellmore, and Justin Cajero.
