Foley & Lardner LLP Partner Lisa Noller and Associates Hayley Altabef and Ryan Lowry co-authored the Pretrial Motions chapter of the 2023 edition of “Federal Criminal Practice,” published by the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
In the chapter, the authors offer guidance for federal practitioners on motions that may be filed prior to trial and discuss the reasons for making the motions, how to file the motions, how to set the motions for hearing, and the necessity for supporting briefs.
