Foley Awarded 2013 M&A Advisor Deal of the Year in Healthcare/Life Sciences Category

Foley is pleased to announce that the firm’s work with OxOnc Development LP, was awarded “Deal of the Year in the Healthcare/Life Sciences (between $10 million to $50 million)” category at the 12th annual M&A Advisor awards gala on December 17, 2013. Foley attorneys, along with investment bankers MTS Health Partners, assisted in the formation and financing of OxOnc Development LP and its simultaneous entry into a significant development relationship with Pfizer, Inc. for the clinical development in the Peoples’ Republic of China, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea of Pfizer’s product, Xalkori, for the treatment of certain varieties of lung cancer. The Foley team consisted of Selig Sacks, Rick Kaufman, Jamshed Patel, Michael Dana and Melisande Brodeur-Frohman.
